How do I use scales to make solos in music?

When you learn scales, you learn the musical vocabulary. Like when you were young, you learned to speak with parents etc. teaching you basic words and hen phrases. After a while you put a word where it belonged on your own. Then a phrase. Then a complete sentence. Your vocabulary grew as you became more comfortable with words, and understood what they meant.

The very same thing happens in music. Learn the scales. Then learn other guitarists solos (begin imitating just like the vocabulary paragraph above) and then as others mentioned play some music and begin with one word… or… note, then make a phrase on your own. before you know it you’ll be making sentences and then complete stores up on the guitar using notes.
